She returned to life as a socialite, attending star-studded parties and wearing bolder looks.
She was at the final night of the Republican National Convention but didn't give a speech.
After serving as a White House advisor during Donald Trump's presidency, Ivanka Trump announced in 2022 that she was leaving politics behind.
"I love my father very much," Ivanka Trump said in a statement after skipping her father's 2024 campaign launch. "This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics. While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena."
Ivanka Trump has still made a few appearances on official business, testifying in Donald Trump's civil fraud trial and attending the final night of the Republican National Convention.
However, the eldest Trump daughter has largely returned to her previous life as a socialite, attending star-studded celebrity weddings, walking red carpets at restaurant and hotel openings, and trading in her business attire for more daring looks.

November 2022: Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, joined the prime minister of Qatar at the FIFA World Cup.
Donald Trump launched his 2024 presidential campaign in November 2022, but Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner were not in attendance. Later that month, they chatted with Prime Minister Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani of Qatar at the FIFA World Cup in Lusail City.
Jared Kushner established ties with leaders in the Middle East through his work on the Abraham Accords, a 2020 agreement in which Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates normalized relations with Israel. After leaving the White House, he reportedly courted Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates to invest in his private equity firm, Affinity Partners.
Kushner's firm received $2 billion from Saudi-backed funds and was paid $87 million in fees from the Saudi government, according to the Senate Finance Committee, prompting its investigation into foreign governments' dealings with Affinity Partners and their possible "leverage over the Trump family."
"The terms of Affinity's agreements with foreign clients create conflicts of interest involving members of a Presidential family that are unprecedented in size and scope," Senate Finance Committee Chair Ron Wyden wrote in a letter to Affinity Partners in September.
Affinity Partners' chief legal officer told The New York Times in a statement that the firm "has always acted appropriately and any suggestion to the contrary is false."

In February, Judge Arthur Engoron ruled that Trump and the Trump Organization must repay $355 million, writing in the verdict that "the frauds found here leap off the page and shock the conscience." Donald Trump appealed the decision and has denied any wrongdoing.

"Politics is a rough, rough business, and I think it's one that you also can't dabble in. I think you have to either be all in or all out," she said. "I know today the cost they would pay for me being all in — emotionally, in terms of my absence at such a formative point in their life — and I'm not willing to make them bear that cost."
