Indiana Jones fans can grab a free custom Xbox if they are as smart as the professor himself

Date: 2024-10-21

XBOX’S biggest release of this year is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and fans can’t wait to try it out.

But Microsoft has just given fans a glimpse at something even more magical for Indiana Jones fans.

Xbox has announced a new giveaway for a custom Xbox Series X console with Indiana Jones theming.

The console comes in gold colouring with the symbol for the titular Great Circle in the top corner.

It also comes with an Indiana Jones-themed custom controller, with the same gold colouring on the back, and a leather feel front.

The most exciting part of the bundle is the case that comes with it, which is a stone-looking pillar on a plinth.

It has a large gold Xbox symbol on the top and a place for your controller at the bottom.

The bundle also comes with what looks like a smaller stone box for your controller, also with a large Xbox logo.

As is usual with Xbox custom consoles, the only way you can grab one is by entering a giveaway.

However, unlike Xbox’s regular giveaways, you don’t have to post anything about it on social media.

Instead, Microsoft is asking potential winners to visit a Microsoft Experience Centre in London, Sydney or New York.

If you visit one of these centres between November 12, 2024, and January 6, 2025, you will be able to try your hand at a puzzle like the ones Indie faces on his journey.

We don’t know what the puzzle is other than “clever” and “challenging” but the press release does also mention “Forgotten runes” and “Adamic puzzles”.

We’re not sure how we’re meant to study runes that have already been forgotten, but you’ll have to figure it out if you want a chance to grab the console.

If you complete the puzzle at the centre, then you’ll be able to enter in the sweepstakes for a chance to win the gold Xbox.

You will likely have a better chance to win this console than the ones featured in social media sweepstakes as we expect there to be fewer entries.

However, this does mean you’ll have to live close to one of the three cities with Microsoft Experience Centres if you want a chance.
