Katie Price ‘broke both feet after sexting footballer’, ex Carl Woods claims

Katie Price’s ex-fiancée has claimed that she broke both of her feet after he confronted her about sexts sent to an ex-footballer.

Katie, 46, and former car salesman Carl Woods, 35, started dating in 2020 and travelled to Turkey together in search of matching veneers months later.

While away, Katie broke both of her feet – originally attributing the injury to an accident which occurred while she had been ‘pretending to be a horse’.

After falling 25ft, the mum-of-five said she was told she would ‘never walk again’ as doctors described her injuries as among the worst they’d ever seen.

Following an extensive operation, Katie went on to make a full recovery. However, Carl has now claimed that the accident came after he caught her messaging ‘a very famous footballer who plays for England’.

And, as a reportedly drunk Katie ran out onto the hotel car park during the ensuing fallout, Carl claims she then broke both of her feet.

‘We’d only been together six weeks but it was her suggestion, everything with Katie moves very quickly,’ Carl said, of their decision to travel to Turkey together.

In an interview with The Sun on Sunday, Carl claimed that she had been drunk when he found her sexting a famous footballer – going ‘wild’ when he questioned her.

‘She ran out of the room and went down the fire exit stairs, across the hotel reception and straight out onto the hotel car park,’ he told the tabloid.

‘She didn’t mean to do it but she was running like a lunatic and went off the edge, she ran through a bush and the ground disappeared beneath her.’

Talking about her injury back in 2020, Katie had said: ‘I was running and jumped over a wall, as it was a little shortcut, and didn’t really judge the height.

‘I just sort of fell funny on my ankles and I fractured the hairline on my heels and stuff.

‘The hospital here wanted to operate and wanted to put pins in and stuff. Because I’m away, I’d rather wait until I get home,’ she revealed on her YouTube channel at the time.

‘It’s the most painful thing ever. Like when I was trying to put the cast on, I was screaming in pain. They said I won’t be able to walk for three to six months.’

Katie’s relationship with Carl was a tumultuous one to say the least, following an off-again-on-again period of dating between 2020 and 2022.

Confusing fans by unfollowing each other on social media (with Katie purging him from her Instagram grid), the pair surprised everyone by getting engaged in 2021 – then calling it off the following year.

They appeared together at events in the time after their apparent separation, leading some to wonder whether they’d managed to settle their differences.

However, by February 2024, Katie and Carl were at each other’s throats on Instagram – with Carl sharing a harsh story about 4x4s crashing into trees that seemed to be aimed at Katie.

‘Narcissists be like, it’s the tree’s fault!!!!!’ he joked, sharing a picture of a car smashing into a tree.

This, in reference to Katie’s 2021 car crash – an incident she has since described as her ‘rock bottom moment.’

More recently, the former Love Island star has taken aim at Katie’s ‘obsession’ with plastic surgery, revealing how he thinks it could ultimately kill her.

‘They say in your life you can only have so much anaesthetic before it’s a problem. And like everything in her life, Kate likes to push the boundaries. I feel like she’ll never be happy,’ he told OK! Magazine.

He continued: ‘Unfortunately, there could be that final time she doesn’t wake up. Sadly, I do 100 percent believe that could happen. But Kate never spoke to me about being scared about it, she’d brush off all that talk.’

This came after she jetted off to Turkey again this summer, where she reportedly dropped £10,000 on a facelift – her sixth one to date.

Katie made headlines by being arrested when she returned – having skipped out on a court hearing to discuss her second bankruptcy to make the appointment.

Having moved on from Carl, Katie is currently dating Married at First Sight star JJ Slater.
