Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper loses over a stone after cutting out one ingredient
Date: 2024-10-28
Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper has opened up about his fitness overhaul after drastically changing his diet.
The 26-year-old farm manager, who has shot to fame since first appearing with Jeremy Clarkson on his Amazon Prime Video show in 2021, has cut out sugar and already seen the results after losing almost a stone in weight.
‘I’m on a no-sugar thing, and it’s all because I had this dream. I did and didn’t understand the dream, but I knew I had to quit sugar,’ he told The Sun.
‘I went to tell Taya [his Âpartner] and she thought I wouldn’t do it. I’m four weeks in now, and I’ve lost six kilos, which is pretty good.’
Although Kaleb admitted he still has ‘the odd cheat day’, even then he makes sure to only consume ‘sugars that naturally occur’.
His new healthy eating drive comes after former Grand Tour and Top Gear host Jeremy revealed he is on a new diet of his own after a recent health scare.
After suffering from symptoms including being ‘clammy’, a ‘tightness in my chest’, and ‘pins and needles in my left arm’, he had a stent fitted after doctors discovered that one of his arteries was ‘completely blocked’.
Jeremy has since revealed that while he wasn’t scared despite undergoing ‘extremely urgent surgery’, he is more upset about how he must live his life ‘from now on’.
‘The worst problem though is diet. To cut my alarmingly high levels of cholesterol, I need to cut out, completely, everything I like eating,’ he explained in his column for The Sun.
‘Bacon, sausages, beef, lamb, pork, butter, chips, proper milk, Cadbury’s fruit and nut bars and the interesting bit in an egg. I’ve had a week now to live in the new regime and it’s horrific. Have you ever tried kale? Well, don’t, because it’s like eating the contents of a AAA battery.’
Speaking to the same newspaper, Kaleb noted he’s been in touch with his co-star ‘every day’, and he’s ‘doing really good’ after his operation.
‘I’m at the farm every day, or we’ll text every day or I’ll go in for a cup of tea every day. He’s doing all right, he’s doing good,’ he said.
‘I was there with him when it happened and all I can say is he’s definitely a fighter, he’s a strong man. He went in, he had the procedure and he’s doing really good.’
