A delegation of Ivorian diplomats and nationals arrived in Abidjan on October 26, 2024. The government took the decision to repatriate its citizens due to the deteriorating security situation in the Middle East.
The Ivorian Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized the repatriation process, ensuring the safe return of approximately 100 Ivorian nationals who expressed their desire to leave Lebanon.
The government remains committed to assisting its citizens abroad and will continue to monitor the situation in Lebanon and take necessary measures to protect the interests of Ivorians.
