Tom Brady posts sorrowful lyrics after news Gisele Bündchen is ‘expecting baby’ with jiu-jitsu instructor

American football star Tom Brady has posted some downtrodden Fleetwood Mac lyrics on his social media after it was reported his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen is pregnant and expecting a baby with her boyfriend.
The Victoria’s Secret model, 44, is said to be expecting with her 37-year-old Jiu-Jitsu instructor boyfriend Joaquim Valente, who she has been dating since June last year.
The baby will be Gisele’s third, after she welcomed Benjamin Rein, 14, and daughter Vivian Lake, 11, with ex-husband and NFL star Tom, who she was married to for 16 years.
‘Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family,’ a source told People of the new addition to the family.
The former professional quarterback and Gisele married in 2009, and called time on their relationship in 2022. Joaquim was the family’s jiu-jitsu instructor.
Now, Tom has posted a sunset picture alongside three heart emoji and the lyrics to Landslide by Fleetwood Mac: ‘Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love?’
Because Gisele and Joaquim appeared to know each other for years before her divorce from Tom, the supermodel was previously forced to deny rumours she cheated on the sporting pro.
‘That is a lie,’ she simply said in an interview with The New York Times.
When their relationship was first reported, a source said: ‘They started out as great friends first. She’s very private about this and wanted to keep it quiet while they got to know each other.’
They have kept their relationship largely under wraps since, having been spotted out and about together on a handful of occasions since Gisele’s divorce.
Gisele publicly addressed her relationship with Joaquim for the first time in a March 2023 interview with Vanity Fair.Â
‘He’s our teacher and, most importantly, he’s a person that I admire and that I trust. It’s so good to have that kind of energy, to have my kids around that type of energy,’ she said.
‘Sometimes you grow together; sometimes you grow apart,’ she previously told Vanity Fair about her and Tom’s bond.
‘When I was 26 years old and he was 29 years old, we met, we wanted a family, we wanted things together. As time goes by, we realize that we just wanted different things, and now we have a choice to make.
‘That doesn’t mean you don’t love the person. It just means that in order for you to be authentic and truly live the life that you want to live, you have to have somebody who can meet you in the middle, right? It’s a dance. It’s a balance.
‘When you love someone, you don’t put them in a jail and say, “You have to live this life.†You set them free to be who they are, and if you want to fly the same direction, then that’s amazing.’
Metro has contacted Gisele’s representatives for comment.
