Trading Card Pocket is the latest mobile game from The Pokémon Company that serves as a beginner-friendly way for people to get into the card game.

The Pokémon Trading Card Game is one of Pokémon’s most popular sectors, but it can be difficult to get into for newcomers.

Trading Card Pocket offers players a far simpler rule set compared to the main game, with just 20 cards per deck.

When you download Trading Card Pocket you’ll be able to open a number of packs and grab a starter deck straight away.

You can then take part in short battles that last about three minutes, and pick up rewards per fight.

The more packs you open the better the deck you can build, and the better chance you have at beating other players online.

If you’re into the Trading Card Game, the rules to Trading Card Pocket are very different, with no prize cards and no Energy cards.

Your deck is only made up of Pokémon, items and supporters, and the latter two are very limited.

Instead of Energy cards you will earn one energy per round, which you can use to prepare your Pokémon for battle.

Your score is kept via points rather than prize cards, and three points will net you the win.

Card games are a lot more difficult to get into compared to video games, so this is a great tactic by The Pokémon Company.

Buying packs of trading cards can become very expensive very quickly, as they cost around £5/$5 each.

People end up spending hundreds building their collections and decks, and Trading Card Pocket is an easy way to get lured into collecting for real.

The app is a good way to get into the game, even though you’ll inevitably empty your wallet out buying the real thing.
