Traffic gridlock on the M25 after two crashes close motorway
Date: 2024-10-30
Drivers face rush hour traffic chaos on the M25 after two sections of the motorway shut following serious crashes.
Dartford Crossing is closed southbound because of a serious crash involving another motorbike. The A282 will remain closed throughout the evening at J1B, National Highways said.
Drivers have been warned of two-hour delays southbound and hour-long delays northbound.
In Essex, long tailbacks are snarling clockwise between junction J25 for Waltham Cross and J26 for Waltham Abbey after a crash involving a motorbike.
The motorway has now fully reopened after a collision investigation, but motorists should still prepare for up to a two-hour long delay on approach to J25.
