With just three of the ladies left on the panel, the screen cut to images of the conversation topic while she recuperated.

Upon her return, Kaye said: “Sorry to just pop into this conversation again, I’m really sorry about that.”

Fans were left confused and rushed to social media as the turmoil unfolded on-screen.

One tweeted: “Wth has happened with Kaye?” with another asking: “Where did she go?”

Someone else said: “Poor old Kaye, get the woman a strepsil!”

A fourth joked: “Bloody hell it goes to s**t when Kaye’s not there! None of them can read.”

It’s not the first health scare Kaye’s suffered this week.

Back in January, she was rushed to A&E after losing her hearing minutes before the ITV show went live.

Telly fave Kaye said: “I was absolutely terrified, I thought, ‘Oh my god, what has gone wrong?'”

However the Scots presenter was left red-faced after discovering a large piece of ear wax was causing the problem.

As she returned to her BBC Scotland radio show, the blonde host sounded chirpy.

Kaye commented on the incident: “On Friday when I was doing Loose Women, minutes before we went in air, my right ear just went dead.

“I put my earpiece in, there was no sound I couldn’t hear a thing.”

Kaye added that she managed to get through the show, but when she got home to Glasgow, she still couldn’t hear anything.

Panicking, she researched online and read that she should go to A&E, where she went the following morning.

After praising the nurses, Kaye revealed she was sent for an audiogram at a nearby Boots hearing centre

The popular host then discovered a piece of earwax was lodged in her ear.

She added: “I mean I am embarrassed to say this because, honestly, my head was going to some terrible terrible tumour, I am very melodramatic.

“Paula pulled out the biggest bit of wax you have ever seen.”

Kaye then laughs with relief after her big reveal.
