The couple had reportedly intended to tie the knot in Las Vegas in July this year, but the I’m A Celebrity star revealed those plans had also been called off.
Kerry was visiting mum Sue in hospital after she was taken to A&E in a serious condition earlier this week, following the discovery of blood clots in her lungs.
With Kerry checking up on her mum in the hospital ward, she shared an update with her fans via Instagram to let them all know how Sue was doing.
In the comments, user @MissDanielleBrown commented, ‘So much love to you both – and is the doctor single?’ Kerry replied: ‘No, but I am!’
It’s the first confirmation Kerry has given that things are over between her and Ryan, but things didn’t look good for the pair in the spring of 2024.
Writing for OK! Magazine, she said: ‘I want to say a massive thank you to my mum, who has been my rock during the last couple of weeks.
‘I’ve been staying at hers and she’s really looked after me. If I’m honest, I’ve felt more lonely than ever during my recovery.’
She continued: ‘Ryan was away getting a tattoo in London when I went into hospital and I haven’t seen him since my surgery over a week ago.
‘That upset me, because it made me feel unsupported and I could have done with the emotional support. I’m always the “strong mum†in our house and this week I really wanted to be looked after and have him here.’
The couple got engaged in 2020 while they were on holiday in Spain, with Ryan asking Lilly, Heidi, Molly, DJ, and Max for their blessing beforehand.
Kerry then wrote in her OK! Magazine column: ‘Molly and Lilly said “Don’t you dare do that without us,†I told them they’d already been at too many of my weddings.
‘That put those plans on the back burner, so I think we’re going to Mexico now. I just want somewhere really relaxing, especially after our stressful house move.’
Kerry’s reps declined to comment when approached by Metro.
