Arsenal travel to Newcastle United this afternoon for what could prove to be a pivotal Premier League showdown.
The Gunners are aiming to close the gap to Manchester City and Liverpool in the title race but have a number of fitness concerns as they head to St. James’ Park.
They have been rocked by defensive injuries and absences in recent weeks and will again be without the suspended William Saliba who will also miss the visit of Chelsea on 10 November after his straight red card shown in the defeat to Bournemouth.
His partner at the back Gabriel Magalhaes was forced off in Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Liverpool following a tussle with Darwin Nunez but Mikel Arteta will hope to have him back against the Magpies.
