Fast food chain announces return of burger which fans call ‘a thing of beauty’
Date: 2024-11-04
It’s that time of year when our favourite fast-food chains start announcing their festive menus.
For some, that means the return of beloved menu items they’ve waited all year to taste again.
And for KFC fans, it’s good news, a their Stuffing Stacker Burger is back for 2024.
Perfect for those who can’t quite get on board with turkey (yes, we know, its too dry), the burger features two crispy golden Original Recipe chicken fillets topped with cheese, layered beneath a sage and onion stuffing patty, smothered in spicy cranberry sauce, on a bed of fresh lettuce and burger dressing, all housed in a soft brioche bun.
KFC says their burger will prove that ‘in the battle of the birds, chicken truly reigns supreme.’
And fans are sure to be excited to see the Christmas staple back once again.
On X, Stuart Baxter called the burger a ‘thing of beauty’ and an ‘absolutely different gear.’
While another user, Daniel, called it ‘disgustingly beautiful’, adding: ‘I think it may be my favourite fast food Christmas burger ever.’
Meanwhile, X-er Mathew Midgley said it ‘hits differently’.
The burger will be available nationwide from the November 11, right up until January 5, so there’s plenty of time to try get your hands on it.
But, KFC do warn that you’ll have to be quick to nab the £8.99 burger as, when ‘then they’re gone for good’, and last year, the burger was a ‘rapid sell-out’.
Joining the Stuffing Stacker Burger on KFC’s Christmas menu is the Stuffing Tower Burger, from £7.49, which is pretty much the same as the Stacker, but with just one chicken fillet.
They’re also introducing ultimate sharing specials, the Gravy Double Bucket (from £19.99) and Gravy Triple Bucket (from £23.99).
The Gravy Double Bucket features:
6 Pieces of original recipe chicken
8 hot wings or 6 mini fillets
4 regular fries
2 large gravy
1 bottle of drink
The Gravy Triple Bucket features the same as the double, but you get both the hot wings and mini fillets.
You can buy the new menu items in store, or with a KFC Delivery, both via the KFC App and at their website.
On X (formerly Twitter), @CourtneyShim claimed that it’ll change your fast food preferences for good, writing: ‘If you’ve tasted Mary Brown’s, you wouldn’t eat KFC. People wait up to 30 minutes for the chicken to be ready.’
