JD VANCE has cast his ballot in the 2024 presidential election – appearing in person to his local polling station.
Pictures showed Donald Trump’s running mate standing over ballot boxes with wife Usha and their kids at the St Anthony of Padua Church in Cincinnati.
Vance, the first candidate to appear on election day, told reporters: “We do expect to win.”
Speaking of a Trump-Vance administration, he said: “We can have a golden age of prosperity.”
“Hopefully it goes as well for President Trump and me as it went for me a couple years ago in the state of Ohio,” Vance added.
Polls this morning have Harris leading over Trump by just 0.7 per cent – a tiny margin in keeping with expert analysis that it’s the closest election seen in decades.
