Missing schoolboys, 11 and 12, found safe after vanishing in middle of night as cops end desperate search

TWO schoolboys, aged 11 and 12, who went missing in the middle of the night have been safely located by the police.
Reggie, 12, and Jayden, 11, were last seen in Shotton, Flintshire shortly after midnight this morning.

North Wales Police said: “We can confirm they have both been safely located.”
Officers had issued an appeal to help locate the two boys, urging anyone with information to come forward.
A Coastguard rescue helicopter was spotted assisting the search this morning.
When the boys were reported missing, a police statement read: “Reggie, aged 12, and Jayden, aged 11, were last seen in the area of Rowley’s Drive, Shotton, shortly after midnight on 22nd October.”
“Reggie is white with short brown hair and around 5ft 5 tall wearing a black coat and black trousers. Jayden is white with short brown hair and is around 5ft tall.
“It is believed that both may have changed clothes since they were last seen.
“Any sightings or information please contact 101 or use our webchat facility quoting Q159415.”
It comes after police released CCTV of a woman who disappeared while heading towards a forest.
Joanne Jones from Pontypridd, South Wales, was last seen around 10am yesterday wearing a backpack.
The footage shows her walking in the direction of Llanwonno.
The force said in a post on Facebook: “Joanne was wearing a dark green coat, black rucksack, leggings, and walking boots.
“Anyone who may have seen Joanne, or who has information which will help us find her, is asked to contact South Wales Police quoting occurrence number 2400351002.”
The tiny hamlet of Llanwonno is described as containing a “steep forested climb” which overlooks the Aberdare Valley and is in the shadow of Tylorstown Tip, the region’s tallest peak.
