Date: 2024-10-21

SAM Fender fans have been left fuming about the cost of tickets to watch him on tour.

The singer-songwriter, 30, is hitting the road for his first full UK tour since 2022 and will be playing in arenas up and down the country at the end of this year before heading to Europe next year.

But not everyone is happy about the price tag, with some tickets costing over £80.

One person raged: “I fear our love affair is over. do one. It’s not even a stadium tour & you’re supposed to be a man of the working class people. I’m not paying £82 for an arena show you can actually do one.”

Someone else added: “This is so disappointing, this is literally over double what I paid for standing for the last tour and the album isn’t even released before the tour starts.”

And another fan commented: “announces a tour with a few weeks notice, right before christmas and then charging £90 is an absolute joke. sam fender i love you but wtf x”

“£85 for a ticket in a cost of living crisis and u pride urself on knowing u have working class fans that cannot afford s**t like that,” said another.

Ticket’s for Sam’s tour, which is called People Watching, will go on sale at 10am on October 25.

Following in the footsteps of Coldplay, £1 from every ticket sold for the UK dates will be donated to the Music Venue Trust in support of grassroots venues.

Sam’s eagerly anticipated third studio album is expected to come out early next year, but fans hope for the first taste with a single before Christmas.

The star has confirmed the follow-up to 2021’s Seventeen Going Under – is now finished.
