He’s also recently released a book he co-wrote with British author China Mieville – titled The Book of Elsewhere.
When appearing on The One Show on Wednesday night to speak about his latest project, Keanu also reflected on recent milestones.
‘It’s 10 years of John Wicks and 25 years of the Matrix and I turned 60,’ he explained.
Looking shocked, host Alex Jones exclaimed: ‘You can’t be 60!’
‘I’m 60 years old,’ he reiterated.
‘Wow, well it is 30 years since Speed,’ she added while making sense of his ageless looks.
Many watching on at home also had the same reaction to Alex.
‘Wow Keanu does not look 60,’ user L posted on X.
‘Keanu Reeves, one of the good guys. How is he 60?’ Martin commented.
‘Keanu looks fantastic for his age,’ Maisy added.
Meanwhile Lucy also said that ‘age is just a number’.
During his appearance on the show, Keanu also spoke about recently reuniting with Speed co-star Sandra Bullock to mark the anniversary.
‘It was so nice. Sandra Bullock and I get along so well and it’s always nice to see her so it was nice to hang out for a little bit,’ he said.
The actor also spoke about how growing up he dreamed of playing Batman, however he thought ‘that ship has sailed’.
Earlier this year Keanu confessed he was constantly thinking about death now as he closed in on turning 60.
‘I’m 59, so I’m thinking about death all the time,’ he shared.
When the BBC reporter disagreed and said he was young Keanu conceded and said: ‘I’m young-old.’
‘Hopefully, it’s not crippling, but hopefully, it’s sensitised [us] to an appreciation of the breath we have and the relationships that we have the potential to have,’ he added.
The One Show airs weekdays at 7pm on BBC One.
