Asda reveals festive sandwich range including CURRY-inspired dish

ASDA has revealed its festive sandwich range including two never seen before dishes.
The retail giant said eight Christmas-themed sandwiches will be available over the festive period.
Sarnies making their debut, include a new Let It Spice Festive Curry Wrap for £3.
This tortilla comes with chicken breast, winter-spiced slaw, cranberry chutney and mildly spiced curry sauce.
Another new addition is the Christmas Club Sandwich.
For £3.35 shoppers can tuck into a Cheddar and Bacon onion sandwich with added chicken breast.
It’s paired with cranberry chutney, beechwood smoked bacon, pork, sage and onion stuffing and chicken stock paste.
Asda has also revamped its Boxing Day Sandwich, replacing turkey breast with chicken.
It still includes oak-smoked ham with coleslaw and balsamic onion chutney on white bread and costs £2.50.
The Hog Roast Sandwich has also been improved to include more Bramley apple sauce than in previous years.
Other classics making a return include the Festive Feast Duo Wrap with turkey breast and sausages with smoked bacon.
This is paired with stuffing, gravy mayo and a spread of cranberry chutney and will set you back £3.
The new and improved lines join the classic Prawn Cocktail Sandwich and the Festive Feast Sandwich which also cost £3.
Veggies can try the Brie & Cranberry Festive Sandwich for £2.50.
You can buy the sandwiches as a single item of customers can pick up a drink and a snack as part of its 3-for-2 deal.
By doing this, customers can get the cheapest item for free.
Supermarkets tend to release festive-themed sandwiches in the run-up to Christmas.

Tesco launched a total of eight new mains and sides which are available to buy in-store now.
Tesco Clubcard members can nab a festive main, snack and drink for a £3.60.
New products include Tesco’s new Christmas Cracking Currywurst Sub – available for £3 on its own, making this meal deal a stellar saver.
The festive sandwich is filled with juicy pork sausage, smoky caramelised onions and tangy curry ketchup, wrapped into an egg-glazed sub roll.
For £3.25, the new Ho-Ho-Hog Wrap comes with low-cooked pulled pork seasoned with fennel and garlic.
It’s paired with rosemary gravy mayo and a crunchy apple slaw and wrapped in a tortilla.
Aldi has also launched its new Christmas sandwich range which includes a range of new sandwiches such as a Christmas Club Triple Sandwich for £2.39 and Smoked Chicken & The Trimmings Toastie for £1.89.
Morrisons has also rolled out their range which includes a Pig Under Blankers sandwich for £2.85.
Asda at Christmas
Asda has debuted its new Christmas range ahead of the big day.
This includes a brand new Toffee Apple Spiced Mince Pie.
It will form part of Asda’s ‘Expectational’ range, which will be slightly more pricey than other goods the retailer stocks.
Shoppers can also pick up a camembert pork pie, as part of the grocer’s premium range.
This pie combines a blend of seasoned British pork, smoked bacon and gammon, with a creamy Camembert centre.
The supermarket has also opened delivery slots for customers who want to do their Christmas shop online.
The option to book your sport for December is now open for delivery pass and non-delivery pass customers.
