US heads to polls TODAY after Trump vows to lead US into ‘new Golden Age’ – & final polls show it can’t get any closer

AMERICA heads to the ballots today after Republican nominee Donald Trump swore to lead the US into “new heights of glory”.

Tuesday morning polls have Harris leading over Trump by just 0.7 per cent – a knife-edge margin in keeping with expert analysis that it’s the closest election seen in decades.

Both spent their final campaign day in battleground swing states – with Harris devoting the entirety of hers to crucial Pennsylvania and telling supporters she is “fighting for a democracy”.

Trump wrapped up in Michigan where he gave sweeping remarks about ushering in a new Golden Age of politics.
